Visible Mending Kit No. 8
Get started with visible mending with this kit of basic supplies.
This kit includes:
• (1) 22-yard skeins of cotton Sashiko thread in Off-White
• (1) 22-yard skein of cotton Sashiko thread in Sky Blue
• (1) 22-yard skein of cotton Sashiko thread in Cobalt
• (1) 22-yard skeins of cotton Sashiko thread in Navy
• (1) package of 6 Sashiko needles + threader
• (1) adjustable ring thimble
• (2) needle pullers
• (8) small pieces of wash-away Sashiko embroidery stickers
The above items are packaged in a 5.25" x 3.5" storage tin that is great for taking with you or simply keeping it all together.
The Sashiko stitching patterns are printed on water soluble adhesive paper. You can use the entire piece or cut away what you need. Stick it where you'll be stitching, stitch the pattern, and then rinse in warm/hot water to dissolve the paper.
