Shipping and Returns

 

How long does my order take to ship?

All packages ship within 2-business days unless you are ordering something custom made. In these instances, we’ll be corresponding by email and I’ll let you know what day to expect your package to go out.

Do you offer international shipping? 

Sorry, I do not offer shipping outside the US at this time. Please consider using a package forwarding service if you are outside the US. These companies are specialists in sending packages around the world. They’ll give you a US mailing address so you can shop for sewing supplies and fabric at any online store based in the United States. Your package is sent to your US address and then mailed by the forwarding service to you wherever you are in the world.

What is your return policy? 

If you’d like to returns or exchange something, and it is not something listed in the section below, please get in touch within 7-days of delivery and ship the item back within 14-days of delivery. If you need to cancel your order, please let me know within 24-hours of purchase. My goal is always to ship orders within 2-business days, so don’t wait if you need to cancel. Once your package is on the way, the order can’t be canceled.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged:

Because of the nature of the items below, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • PDF sewing patterns and any other digital downloads

  • Cut goods like fabric and interfacing

Returns and exchange details:

PDF Sewing Patterns:
Digital documents can't be returned, so there are no refunds or exchanges for PDF patterns.

Pattern Replacement:
Please download, save, and store your pattern file(s) in cloud based storage. That could be as simple as emailing the document to yourself at a gmail address, or uploading it to online storage sites like Dropbox or Box. Saving it to your computer isn’t safe for long term storage.

Lost files can be replaced for 30-days with proof of purchase (link to your receipt, or a copy of your email receipt). I don't sell, maintain, or store these documents indefinitely so if you lose your pattern in many cases it is irreplaceable.

If you want to keep these files forever the best option is to have a data backup system running, or store the files online. Storing them online can be as simple as emailing them to yourself at a gmail type account, or using a service like Drop Box or Box.net.

Cut/Made to Order Goods:
Sorry, no refunds for items cut or made to order. This includes custom made buttons, fabric, interfacing, and any other items cut as continuous lengths you specify during checkout.

Refunds:
• Returned items must be in original, unused condition.
• Shipping fees are not refundable. This includes the costs to ship it back and the original shipping cost you paid when submitting your order.
• Make sure to mail it back with "Delivery Confirmation" or some kind of tracking. This is to protect you should the package go missing in the mail. A refund isn't submitted for processing until the return package is received.
• Return package needs to be post marked within 14-days of your purchase.
• Once your package arrives a refund will be submitted within 24-hours. The time it takes to actually receive the refund credit in your account can vary. Questions regarding those processing times should be directed to your bank, credit card, or the funding institution for the card you used.

Lost Packages:
Shipments within the US are sent with "Delivery Confirmation". Please let me know if you have not received your package after 2 weeks. USPS online tracking information must show the package has NOT been delivered in order to qualify as a lost package.
