Mini Fabric Basket PDF Sewing Pattern
Stitch up an adorable small fabric basket to store all the little stuff cluttering up your space!
This PDF sewing pattern includes text and color photo instructions and all pattern pieces to create this tiny treasure.
Use the finished bag to hold sewing clips, small tools and notions, random spools of thread, pattern weights, and all the other small, but necessary bits and bobbles, surrounding you. It also makes a great Easter basket for some individual candy packets or nice small gift basket.
This tiny bag has a flat bottom base made from separate pieces of fabric so it sits up nice and straight. The flat base is on both the exterior and lining and elevates the simple box bottom to another level.
All fabric pieces are interfaced to provide some additional stability. Use Pellon SF101 woven cotton interfacing or your preferred brand of interfacing.
This PDF sewing pattern is 9-pages total: 6-pages of text and color photo instructions + 3-pages of pattern pieces.
Approximate Finished Dimensions: 5” wide x 3.25” wide base x 3.25” high body x 6” from top of handle to bottom
Skill Level: Intermediate. This pattern requires working with small parts and sewing in the round. It is designed for those with solid accessory sewing experience and is NOT recommended for beginners.
Supplies: The amounts listed below are what you would purchase when ordering yardage of 44” wide fabric and 20” wide interfacing. Fat Quarters or larger scraps can be used for this project.
✔ ¼ yard exterior fabric
✔ ¼ yard lining fabric
✔ ½ yard fusible interfacing (Pellon SF101)
