Grocery Bag PDF Sewing Pattern
Sew your own pretty and practical reusable fabric grocery bags and you’ll remember to take them with you!
This PDF sewing pattern shows you how to make these simple shopping bags in 3 sizes.
This 1-2 hour sewing project is a great way to bust your stash.
The finished bags are useful for carrying groceries, packages, toys for kids or pets, your current knit or crochet craft project, etc.
These bags are the same basic design as the plastic bags stores give out. Just like those bags, these bags do NOT have a box bottom, but are pleated in a way that allows the corners to collapse and expand.
This pattern is written specifically for quilting cotton fabric, but other light to medium weight (up to 10oz) washable fabrics can be used. This gives you lots of great options for making some fabulous bags!
The handles are sewn separately to keep pressing to a minimum.
The pattern is in PDF format and is available for instant download once your payment is processed. The pattern document is a paper and ink friendly 7-pages:
