Visible Mending Kit No. 1
Get started with visible mending with this kit of basic supplies.
This kit comes with:
• (2) 10” x 10” denim pieces - one stripe & one solid
• (22) yard skein of Olympus cotton Sashiko thread in off-white
• (1) package with (6) Sashiko needles + threader
• (1) adjustable ring thimble
• (2) needle pullers
• (1) slider tin with curved safety pins
The safety pins are to hold the patch in place while you stitch. They have a slight bend which makes them easier to insert and close. They are just over 1" in length.
The denim fabrics are medium weight (10oz). One is blue and off-white hickory striped denim and the other is a very dark blue.
The above items are packaged in a 5.25" x 3.5" tin.
