Envelope Clutch PDF Sewing Pattern

Sew an envelope style clutch with beginner friendly PDF sewing pattern.

This is a quick and easy project that's perfect if you are new to sewing or need to make something really fast. It's also great for showing off some of your fabulous buttons!

The lining is lightly quilted to provide some padding and structure.

There's one patch pocket on the inside to hold some smaller items.

This makes a nice clutch, storage pouch, or it will hold a tablet computer (no cover) that is 9.5" x 7.5" or smaller.

The pattern document is a paper & ink friendly 11-pages:

• 7-pages text with color photos

• 4-pages of pattern pieces

Beginner Sewing Pattern: You have taken a basic sewing class or learned to sew from a book, are familiar with working a sewing machine, and have completed a few simple projects.

Approximate Finished Dimensions: 9.75" w x 7.75" h (25cm x 20cm)

Supplies You Provide:
• 1/2 yard exterior fabric - 42" wide quilting cotton
• 1/2 yard lining fabric - 42" wide quilting cotton
• 1/2 yard muslin
• 2/3 yard 20" wide fusible woven cotton interfacing - Pellon SF101
• 1/2 yard fusible fleece - Pellon 987F
• (2) elastic hair ties or 10" of 1/16" - 3/32" cord elastic
• (2) 7/8" - 1.25" shank buttons
• Basic sewing tools/notions: machine, thread, scissors, etc.
